Writing Workshop 1
Telling stories is one of the world's most ancient traditions. What began as a verbal tradition changed into one of prose and beauty over the years. If you are someone who is interested in writing or have always wanted to give writing a try, this beginning workshop is geared toward you. We will work on writing stories in fiction, essay, and memoir form. We will share our writing and find ways to incorporate it into daily life. No matter what genre you choose, this workshop will put you on the path to recording and sharing your stories.
Colleen Kappeler is a published writer and a freelance editor. She has been teaching writing at the college level and in workshops for the past ten years.
This workshop will run at the Kenosha Public Museum for 5 weeks this fall. The workshop will be on Thursday evenings from 7-9 p.m. September 25th through October 23rd. Contact Kenosha Writer for more information. Sign ups will be held through the KPM this fall.
